Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit : « Quand Allah aime un serviteur, Il appelle Gabriel et dit : “J’aime untel, aime-le aussi.” Alors Gabriel commence à l’aimer. Puis il annonce au ciel : “Allah aime untel, aimez-le aussi.” Les habitants du ciel l’aiment alors et il reçoit l’estime sur terre. Mais si Allah est en colère contre un serviteur, Il appelle Gabriel et dit : “Je suis en colère contre untel, mets-toi aussi en colère contre lui.” Gabriel se met alors en colère et annonce au ciel : “Allah est en colère contre untel, mettez-vous aussi en colère contre lui.” Les habitants du ciel se mettent en colère contre lui, et il devient aussi détesté sur terre. »

حدثنا زهير بن حرب، حدثنا جرير، عن سهيل، عن ابيه، عن ابي هريرة، قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " ان الله اذا احب عبدا دعا جبريل فقال اني احب فلانا فاحبه - قال - فيحبه جبريل ثم ينادي في السماء فيقول ان الله يحب فلانا فاحبوه . فيحبه اهل السماء - قال - ثم يوضع له القبول في الارض . واذا ابغض عبدا دعا جبريل فيقول اني ابغض فلانا فابغضه - قال - فيبغضه جبريل ثم ينادي في اهل السماء ان الله يبغض فلانا فابغضوه - قال - فيبغضونه ثم توضع له البغضاء في الارض
