Rapporté par Safwan bin Muhriz : Un homme demanda à Ibn `Umar : « Qu’as-tu entendu du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) à propos d’An-Najwa ? » Il répondit : « Chacun de vous s’approchera de son Seigneur, qui le cachera des autres et lui dira : “As-tu fait telle ou telle chose ?” Il répondra : “Oui.” Puis Allah dira : “As-tu fait telle ou telle chose ?” Il répondra : “Oui.” Ainsi Allah l’interrogera et lui fera avouer, puis Allah dira : “J’ai caché tes péchés dans le monde et aujourd’hui Je te les pardonne.” »
