Sunan Ibn Majah - Asceticism and Detachment
It was narrated that ‘Ali said:“The daughter of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was permitted to me as a bride, and our bed on the night when she was presented to me, was no more than the hide of a ram.”
حدثنا محمد بن طريف، واسحاق بن ابراهيم بن حبيب، قالا حدثنا محمد بن فضيل، عن مجالد، عن عامر، عن الحارث، عن علي، قال اهديت ابنة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الى فما كان فراشنا ليلة اهديت الا مسك كبش
