It was narrated from Abu Burdah that his father said to him:“O my son, if only you could have seen us when we were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), when rain fell on us; you would have thought that we smelled like sheep.”

حدثنا ابو بكر بن ابي شيبة، حدثنا الحسن بن موسى، عن شيبان، عن قتادة، عن ابي بردة، عن ابيه، قال قال لي يا بنى لو شهدتنا ونحن مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اذا اصابتنا السماء لحسبت ان ريحنا ريح الضان
