Sunan Ibn Majah - Sacrifices
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:“Camels became scarce at the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), so he commanded them to sacrifice cows.”
حدثنا هناد بن السري، حدثنا ابو بكر بن عياش، عن عمرو بن ميمون، عن ابي حاضر الازدي، عن ابن عباس، قال قلت الابل على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فامرهم ان ينحروا البقر
