It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:‘The one in Ihram may kill the snake, the scorpion, the aggressive predator, the vicious dog and the harmful mouse.” It was said to him: “Why is it said that they are harmful?” He said:* “Because the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) woke up because of one, and it had taken the wick (of the lamp) to burn down the house.”

حدثنا ابو كريب، حدثنا محمد بن فضيل، عن يزيد بن ابي زياد، عن ابن ابي نعم، عن ابي سعيد، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم انه قال " يقتل المحرم الحية والعقرب والسبع العادي والكلب العقور والفارة الفويسقة " . فقيل له لم قيل لها الفويسقة قال لان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم استيقظ لها وقد اخذت الفتيلة لتحرق بها البيت
