Sunan Ibn Majah - Legal Punishments
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.) said:“May Allah curse the thief! He steals an egg and his hand is cut off, and he steals a rope and his hand is cut off”
حدثنا ابو بكر بن ابي شيبة، حدثنا ابو معاوية، عن الاعمش، عن ابي صالح، عن ابي هريرة، قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " لعن الله السارق يسرق البيضة فتقطع يده ويسرق الحبل فتقطع يده
