It was narrated that ‘Ubaidullah bin ‘Abdullah said:“Umar went out on the day of ‘Eid and sent word to Abu Waqid Al-Laithi asking what the Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite on this day. He said: ‘Qaf [Qaf (50)] and ‘Iqtarabat’.” [Al-Qamar]

حدثنا محمد بن الصباح، انبانا سفيان، عن ضمرة بن سعيد، عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله، قال خرج عمر يوم عيد فارسل الى ابي واقد الليثي باى شىء كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقرا في مثل هذا اليوم؟ قال ب {ق} واقتربت
