It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakrah, from his father, that:The Prophet granted a concession to travelers: "If a traveler performed ablution and put on leather socks, then he performed a fresh ablution, he could wipe over the leather socks for three days and nights; the resident could do so for one day and one night

حدثنا محمد بن بشار، وبشر بن هلال الصواف، قالا حدثنا عبد الوهاب بن عبد المجيد، قال حدثنا المهاجر ابو مخلد، عن عبد الرحمن بن ابي بكرة، عن ابيه، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم انه رخص للمسافر اذا توضا ولبس خفيه ثم احدث وضوءا ان يمسح ثلاثة ايام ولياليهن وللمقيم يوما وليلة
