Jundab Al-Bajali said:“I was with the Prophet in a battle when of his finger bled, so the Prophet said: ‘Are you but a finger that bleeds – In the cause of Allah is what you have met.’” He said: “Jibril [peace be upon him] was delayed, so the idolaters said: ‘Muhammad has been forsaken.’ So Allah, Blessed is He and Most High revealed: Your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor hate you.”
