Sunan an-Nasa'i - Cutting off the Hand of the Thief
It was narrated that Ayman said:"The hand of a thief would not be cut off during the time of the Messenger of Allah except for the value of a shield, which in those days was a Dinar." (Daif)
اخبرنا محمد بن بشار، قال حدثنا عبد الرحمن، قال حدثنا سفيان، عن منصور، عن مجاهد، عن ايمن، قال لم تكن تقطع اليد على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الا في ثمن المجن وقيمته يوميذ دينار
