Sunan Abu Dawud - Model Behavior of the Prophet
‘Umar b. al-Khattab reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying :Do not sit with those who believe in free will and do not address them before they address you
حدثنا احمد بن سعيد الهمداني، اخبرنا ابن وهب، قال اخبرني ابن لهيعة، وعمرو بن الحارث، وسعيد بن ابي ايوب، عن عطاء بن دينار، عن حكيم بن شريك الهذلي، عن يحيى بن ميمون، عن ربيعة الجرشي، عن ابي هريرة، عن عمر بن الخطاب، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال " لا تجالسوا اهل القدر ولا تفاتحوهم الحديث
