Sunan Abu Dawud - The Rites of Hajj
Narrated Najiyah al-Aslami: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sent sacrificial camels with him (as offering to the Ka'bah). He then said: If any one of them becomes fatigued, slaughter it, dip its shoes in its blood, and leave it for the people (to eat)
حدثنا محمد بن كثير، اخبرنا سفيان، عن هشام، عن ابيه، عن ناجية الاسلمي، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بعث معه بهدى فقال " ان عطب منها شىء فانحره ثم اصبغ نعله في دمه ثم خل بينه وبين الناس
