Ibn Abbas reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade, the preparation of Nabidh in gourd, in varnished jar, hollow stump and from mixing up ripe dates with nearly ripe dates
حدثنا ابو بكر بن ابي شيبة، حدثنا محمد بن فضيل، عن حبيب بن ابي عمرة، عن سعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس، قال نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الدباء والحنتم والمزفت والنقير وان يخلط البلح بالزهو
