Narrated `Ali:I never heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you," except for Sa`d (bin Abi Waqqas). I heard him saying, "Throw! (arrows), Let my father and mother be sacrificed for you !" (The sub-narrator added, "I think that was in the battle of Uhud)

حدثنا مسدد، حدثنا يحيى، عن سفيان، حدثني سعد بن ابراهيم، عن عبد الله بن شداد، عن علي رضى الله عنه قال ما سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يفدي احدا غير سعد، سمعته يقول " ارم فداك ابي وامي ". اظنه يوم احد
