Narrated Ibn `Abbas:The Prophet (ﷺ) went out towards Al-Batha' and ascended the mountain and shouted, "O Sabahah!" So the Quraish people gathered around him. He said, "Do you see? If I tell you that an enemy is going to attack you in the morning or in the evening, will you believe me?" They replied, "Yes." He said, "Then I am a plain warner to you of a coming severe punishment." Abu Lahab said, "Is it for this reason that you have gathered us? May you perish ! " Then Allah revealed: 'Perish the hands of Abu Lahab

حدثنا محمد بن سلام، اخبرنا ابو معاوية، حدثنا الاعمش، عن عمرو بن مرة، عن سعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم خرج الى البطحاء فصعد الى الجبل فنادى " يا صباحاه ". فاجتمعت اليه قريش فقال " ارايتم ان حدثتكم ان العدو مصبحكم او ممسيكم، اكنتم تصدقوني ". قالوا نعم. قال " فاني نذير لكم بين يدى عذاب شديد ". فقال ابو لهب الهذا جمعتنا تبا لك. فانزل الله عز وجل {تبت يدا ابي لهب} الى اخرها

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:Abu Lahab said, "May you perish! Is it' for this that you have gathered us?" So there was revealed:'Perish the hands of Abu Lahab

حدثنا عمر بن حفص، حدثنا ابي، حدثنا الاعمش، حدثني عمرو بن مرة، عن سعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس رضى الله عنهما قال ابو لهب تبا لك الهذا جمعتنا فنزلت {تبت يدا ابي لهب}

Narrated Abu Huraira:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah said: 'The son of Adam tells a lie against Me,, though he hasn't the right to do so. He abuses me though he hasn't the right to do so. As for his telling a lie against Me, it is his saying that I will not recreate him as I created him for the first time. In fact, the first creation was not easier for Me than new creation. As for his abusing Me, it is his saying that Allah has begotten children, while I am the One, the Self-Sufficient Master Whom all creatures need, I beget not, nor was I begotten, and there is none like unto Me

حدثنا ابو اليمان، حدثنا شعيب، حدثنا ابو الزناد، عن الاعرج، عن ابي هريرة رضى الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال " قال الله كذبني ابن ادم ولم يكن له ذلك، وشتمني ولم يكن له ذلك، فاما تكذيبه اياى فقوله لن يعيدني كما بداني، وليس اول الخلق باهون على من اعادته، واما شتمه اياى فقوله اتخذ الله ولدا، وانا الاحد الصمد لم الد ولم اولد ولم يكن لي كفا احد

Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Allah said:-- 'The son of Adam tells a lie against Me and he hasn't the right to do so; and he abuses me and he hasn't the right to do so. His telling a lie against Me is his saying that I will not recreate him as I created him for the first time; and his abusing Me is his saying that Allah has begotten children, while I am the self-sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, Who begets not nor was He begotten, and there is none like unto Me

حدثنا اسحاق بن منصور، قال وحدثنا عبد الرزاق، اخبرنا معمر، عن همام، عن ابي هريرة، قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " قال الله كذبني ابن ادم ولم يكن له ذلك، وشتمني ولم يكن له ذلك، اما تكذيبه اياى ان يقول اني لن اعيده كما بداته، واما شتمه اياى ان يقول اتخذ الله ولدا، وانا الصمد الذي لم الد ولم اولد ولم يكن لي كفوا احد ". {لم يلد ولم يولد * ولم يكن له كفوا احد} كفوا وكفييا وكفاء واحد

Narrated Zirr bin Hubaish:I asked Ubai bin Ka`b regarding the two Muwwidhat (Surats of taking refuge with Allah). He said, "I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about them, He said, 'These two Surats have been recited to me and I have recited them (and are present in the Qur'an).' So, we say as Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said (i.e., they are part of the Qur'an)

حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد، حدثنا سفيان، عن عاصم، وعبدة، عن زر بن حبيش، قال سالت ابى بن كعب عن المعوذتين، فقال سالت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال قيل لي فقلت فنحن نقول كما قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

Narrated Zirr bin Hubaish:I asked Ubai bin Ka`b, "O Abu AlMundhir! Your brother, Ibn Mas`ud said so-and-so (i.e., the two Mu'awwidh-at do not belong to the Qur'an)." Ubai said, "I asked Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) about them, and he said, 'They have been revealed to me, and I have recited them (as a part of the Qur'an)," So Ubai added, "So we say as Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) has said

حدثنا علي بن عبد الله، حدثنا سفيان، حدثنا عبدة بن ابي لبابة، عن زر بن حبيش، وحدثنا عاصم، عن زر، قال سالت ابى بن كعب قلت يا ابا المنذر ان اخاك ابن مسعود يقول كذا وكذا. فقال ابى سالت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال لي قيل لي. فقلت، قال فنحن نقول كما قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
